The app allows to buy all public transport tickets in Trentino.
Avoid the queues at the ticket office and save money: all urban public transport tickets are discounted by 10 cents and you can save 10% on the extra-urban bus tickets.
OpenMove is an innovative solution developed by Lucian S.r.l. - a startup of young people from Trentino. In close collaboration with Trentino trasporti and Trenitalia, the start-up developed cutting-edge e-ticketing system.
The project has proved succesfull and has been awarded numerous prizes: Trentino Open Data Challenge, FI-WARE/EIT ICT Lab Challenge, European Finodex, E-Globalservice Mind The Bridge Bootcamp, and EIT Idea Challenge.
Lucian is a tribute to Lucian of Samosata, a Greek writer and traveller who, in his “True Story”, described the first trip ever to the moon: he could have used OpenMove to buy a ticket.
