Trento Smart City Week 2018 (second edition)

The second edition of Trento Smart City Week took place from 12 to 15 April 2018. This informational event was organized to promote the knowledge of and the advantages brought by the digital services available in Trento that made the city join the ranks of the IEEE as one of the ten smartest cities worldwide

During the event the citizens could listen to interesting testimonies, experiences and challenging visions of the future, besides getting to know and experiencing firsthand the smart, intelligent, easy and innovative services and initiatives of the city of Trento city and of the Trentino region.

The program was dvided into four categories:

Smart people - direct testimonies

Smart land - projects, services and solutions developed by the local administration

Smart citizens - ideas, studies and prototypes developed by citizens, inventors and startups

Smart solutions and challenges - smart services offered by the industries

In line with the event's motto, “The hope of belonging”, the citizens were able to experience firsthand what is a smart city, to get to know and try the services provided by the Municipality and by the other entities.
