The façade of the originally 15th century palace features a beautiful portal decorated with diamond ashlars.

The building stands in an area that in ancient Roman times was a district of the city called “Tridentum”. The basement rooms show sections of the southern boundary walls and of a minor side-street, as well as the remains of a tower, of private dwellings complete with heating system and of a wine shop. The side street in paved with large polygonal stones made of Trento’s typical red rock, bordered by beaten earth sidewalks. Underneath the road, in a central position, was a section of the main sewer. The road was flanked by houses, of which the stone thresholds still remain, allowing visitors to identify where the entrances were and what the buildings’ functions were.
