Fondazione Museo Storico del Trentino (Trentino Historical Museum Foundation)

The Foundation is meant to be a network and reference point for the various Communities in Trentino and plans through activities of study, research, education and popular information to help representing the history and memory of Trentino from an institutional, social, economic, cultural and territorial point of view. The exploration of new frontiers in research and popularization of local history, with special attention to interdisciplinary approaches, original and complementary to other scientific and cultural institutions, shall contribute to turn history into a cultural integration and acceptance factor, to promote and enhance cultural pluralism and the cooperation with other museum institutions operating in Trentino and the Alps area, especially in Alto Adige - South Tyrol and the Austrian Tyrol.
