Palazzo Balduini

The building’s original structure is Gothic. However, it has undergone several transformations over the centuries.

The last one was carried out in the 19th century, when the facade featured new openings. Its refined frescos embellished with swag motifs date back to the second half of the 15th century and can be traced back to Verona figurative culture. They are one of the first examples of outdoor painted decorations on a residential building.
The remains of a Roman wall and the base of a column are found in the basement and prove building consistency to an area surrounded by the walls of the Roman city «Tridentum».
