The chapel is located at Palazzo Larcher Bortolazzi Fogazzaro, in the ancient city quarter of the fossato, today Via Simonino.
This chapel occupies Simonino’s birthplace, the child for whose death the Jewish community was unfairly accused. On the façade it is possible to admire a bell, the little sculpture of a triumphant Simonino, probably a work by the sculptor Francesco Oradini, and traces of frescoes, unluckily deteriorated. Inside there is an important fresco by Domenico Romani, for the part of fake architecture, and by Orlando Fattori, for the martyrdom scene crowded with various characters. Over the years the chapel has had different commercial uses and since 2018 it belongs to the Fondo Ambiente Italiano.
