Palazzo Geremia

Built in the years between the 15th and 16th century, the Palazzo is one of the first thorough examples of Renaissance architecture in Trento, and heralded numerous solutions later adopted in Clesio's time.

The anonymous painter who frescoed the façade, expressed a figurative culture akin to that of late 15th century Verona and Vicenza. It highlights historical and moral subjects such as, Maximilian's first meeting with the citizens, the Wheel of Fortune, Marcus Curtius on horseback, the sacrifice of Gaius Mucius Scaevola and Lucretia. The arrangement of the stone elements and the elegant mullioned windows are typical of Venetian architecture from the same time. Today is the official seat of the Municipality of Trento. It is not possible to visit it without an agreement with Municipality's office.
