Palazzo Trentini

The Palazzo was built right before 1740 by the noble Trentini family in an area stretching between the old via Lunga and the River Adige, where a number of Gothic-style buildings were already located.

Its high façade - featuring a sober balcony - is one of the most elegant of the 18th century Trentino style. A number of artists were involved in the decoration of its inner rooms between 1750 and 1765, including Verona-based painters Giorgio Anselmi and Orlando Fattori, Carl Henrici from Bolzano and Pietro Antonio Bianchi from Milan. Some of its most remarkable features include its exuberant white and gold stuccos and Rococo-shaped tiled stoves.
